By using or purchasing the Mask.ad VPN service, you agree to the terms outlined below. If we make significant changes, we will announce them via a prominent notice at mask.ad/blog at least one month before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the service (see our refund policy below for details).


 

1. The Service

Mask.ad VPN protects your online privacy by encrypting your data and masking your IP address with one of our shared addresses. This breaks the connection between your identity and your online activity, enhancing both anonymity and protection.

For security and service quality, we block:

  • TCP port 25 (to prevent email spam)

  • Ports 137, 138, 139, and 445 (due to Microsoft vulnerabilities)

  • DNS (port 53) is routed through our servers to prevent DNS leaks

We do not:

  • Block or filter domains, except in rare cases (e.g., botnets or IP owner requests)

  • Modify, redirect, or inject data into your traffic


 

2. Accessing the Service

To use the service, you’ll need a Mask.ad account number, the WireGuard VPN client, and our configuration files.

  • The service costs €5/month

  • You may not resell or use our service to provide VPN services to others

  • Your account number is the only proof of access – store it safely


 

3. Payment Options

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash (EUR, USD, GBP, SEK, NOK, CHF, CAD, AUD, NZD – via mail)

  • Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Monero)

  • Credit Card, SEPA, PayPal, Swish

  • Mask.ad vouchers

Your service is activated once payment is received, and time begins counting down immediately. Your subscription automatically ends when the paid period expires.


 

4. Refund Policy & Complaints

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee starting from the payment date.

Refunds beyond 14 days may be granted under certain conditions. Contact: support@mask.ad

Note: Refunds are not available for payments made in cash or cryptocurrency.


 

5. Privacy

Your anonymity is our core principle. We do not store any activity logs or metadata. Data retention is kept to a minimum.

However, if you pay using Bank wire, PayPal, Swish, or Stripe, those providers will process your personal data as independent data controllers. Please refer to their respective privacy policies.

6. Disclaimers

Mask.ad reserves the right to update the service and software. We aim to provide a stable and secure experience, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime, error-free operation, or the accuracy of content provided.

You use the service at your own risk.


 

7. Legal & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be handled by the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or the Örebro District Court, Sweden.
